Still traveling in India, Xena and Gabrielle are reunited with Eli, and the three team up with a figure from Indian history, Hanuman, to defeat the demon god Indrajit. Xena ends up seeking help from the god Krishna to rescue Gabrielle and Eli after they are captured by Indrajit.
